We decided to add this extra activity because we wanted to give the children the opportunity to approach the topic in an artistic way. Especially for the younger children, who do not have a good knowledge of English it is easier to draw and express their thoughts through pictures.
Firstly, all the students of each school had the task to draw a superhero and to write down - in just a word or a short text - what his or her superpower is. The task was completely open, the children could draw whatever came in their minds while thinking of heroes and heroines.
One partner school created a template/ structure which was send to all the other schools. Now the pictures where drawn into that template/ structure.
In a second step, the schools had to choose the 5 best pictures. After translating the text, it was put to the lower part of the picture.
